I don’t visit DUMBO that often, but when I do it’s for three things: pizza at Ignazio'z,
ice-cream at Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and gorgeous views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
This weekend we celebrated my guy’s birthday with all of the above, plus cake,
fish tacos and carousel rides. I have two months to tease him that he is
one digit higher than me.  Hope you had a fabulous weekend!

Laguna Beach

Happy Monday! Thought today was as good as any day to reminisce about
my trip to Laguna beach some time ago. Going to the beach in NYC
is just not the same...

Happy Monday! Three day weekends are awesome, up until you realize that
you are back to 5 day work weeks. Hope you had a fabulous 4th of July!
Another set of photos from my LA trip from two weeks ago.
An obligatory Hollywood sign and the Observatory for some of the best LA views.

The Getty Center - LA

Having moved for the 4th time in four years I can honestly say that if my real job
doesn’t work out, there is always the moving business…
Even though this particular move was not so much by choice but due to circumstances
outside of my spectrum, I’m nevertheless grateful to have had the experience and
looking forward to new adventures and discovering a whole new neighborhood.
Here is a little flashback to two weeks ago, in Los Angeles, one of my
favorite views of the city.

LACMA - Urban Light (California)

Hi Guys! This Installation has been on my list ever since I watched "No Strings Attached",
where Natalie Portman beats up Ashton Kutcher right in the middle of it
and I finally checked it off my list.
PS. I wore a similar outfit in NY, prior to leaving, here

Casual in Stripes - California

Happy Friday!
I'm back in NY, but I still have so many Cali memories to share with you guys,
it will be a while until you see NY. Here are a few shots from Laguna Beach.
Although my boyfriend would disagree, I really do pack as light as possible.
I take no more than 3 pairs of shorts, 2 blazers and tees and blouses. These shorts
were worn numerous times but by switching the top and adding the blazer, it creates
a whole new look. Switching up the shoes and sunglasses really makes a ton of difference.
Enjoy your weekend!

Joshua Tree National Park

Checked off two things of my list, visiting a National Park and rock climbing
(in a heel I might add). One of the highlights of my Cali trip and I truly recommend
it to anyone visiting. Although be prepared for some serous heat, it reached
106 by mid-afternoon. One more on my list, Grand Canyon in Arizona and
then I can finally put the desert to rest.

Happy Friday! A little early post for ya, as I’m heading to LA for a week,
for the first time. Saying it out loud just makes it sound that much more ridiculous,
but indeed it will be my first time (long overdueee). I’ve spend the last couple of
years traveling anywhere but within and I’m hoping to turn this around. In fact,
it’s part of my silly (30 before 30 list) to really make the effort to see some of our
own amazing states. On the wish list thus far: Arizona, Texas, South Carolina just
to name a few. Oh and I wouldn’t mind sneaking another NOLA trip
in there as well. Do you have a State you’re dying to visit?

Jardin Majorelle - Morocco Part III

If you ever wondered where Yves Saint Laurent got his creative juices from,
I’d like to imagine it was in this little piece of heaven on a street of Rue
Yves Saint Laurent, Marrakech, Morocco.
A quite oasis, about a 30 minute away from the hustle of the medina, where you
can spend your day getting lost in palm trees, cactus gardens and orange trees.
A little gift shop at the end gives you the option to bring home vintage postcards
from a number of years, but most of all, it leaves you with a sense of pure
inspiration and understanding of why he chose to live there.
